    Public Transportation

    Arrival and departure by public transport is recommended. There are no event-specific guest parking spaces available on-site.

    Arrival and departure with the MVV is free of charge within the M-zones.
     

    1. Ticket via CTS eventim 
      A link will be sent in a separate email shortly before the event. You can use said link to book the free public transport ticket (print@home).
       
    2. Ticket via Ticketmaster 
      The order confirmation of the ticket contains the information and the option to book the free public transport ticket (print@home).
       
    3. Ticket via Münchenticket 
      A link will be sent in a separate email shortly before the event. You can use said link to book the free public transport ticket (print@home).


    The ticket is valid in the zones M-6 of the Münchener Verkehrsverbund and entitles you to use all means of transport (S-Bahn/U-Bahn, tram and bus) of the Münchener Verkehrsverbund until 6:00 a.m. the following day.

    Trainstations:
    Theresienwiese (U4 and U5), Goetheplatz (U3 and U6) or Hackerplatz (multiple S-Bahn lines and busses).

    If you arrive at the main station by subway, S-Bahn or long-distance train, you can reach the event site in about 20 minutes on foot.

    Bicycle/e-scooter parking space

    Bicycles and e-scooters may only be parked in designated areas. Walkways and escape routes must be kept clear. There is a designated parking space on the southern part of the Theresienwiese.

    By Car

    We recommend traveling by public transport as there will be no event-related guest parking spaces.

    If you still arrive by car, you must use public parking garages and parking spaces in the area.

    Guests staying at the hotel should leave their car at the hotel property and use public transportation.

    There are parking spaces for people with disabilities in the southern area of Theresienwiese (access via Hans-Fischer-Str.). Please have your official disabled parking permit ready.

    Children

    Children under 6 years of age are not allowed entry to the event.

    Children between the ages of 6 and under 14 are allowed to attend the event when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

    Young people aged 14 and over are allowed to attend the event on there own.

  • Ticket info

    Personalization

    When purchased, each ticket has been personalized to the buyer. Access is therefore only granted to the person whose name is found on the ticket and people accompanied by this person. Photo ID must be shown upon request.

    Ticket resale

    Please note that your ticket is personalized. Therefore, ticket resale is only possible via the official resale platforms of the respective ticket provider.

    Ticket return

    Tickets cannot be returned.

  • Entrance

    Bag regulation

    Bags and backpacks up to A4 size (21.0cm x 29.7cm x 10.0cm) can be taken onto the event site.

    Larger bags or items of luggage are not permitted onto the event site. Storage is available on site for a fee.

    Bottles / Cups

    Empty, foldable drinking bottles/tetra packs up to 1 liter and open reusable drinking cups made of plastic/cardboard up to 0.5 liters can be taken onto the event site.

    Filled tetra packs/drinking bottles and glass bottles/containers of any kind are not permitted.

    Umbrellas

    Umbrellas, when folded, are permitted on the event site up to a maximum size of one forearm's length. Umbrellas with steel tips are prohibited.

    Lockers

    There will be lockers near the entrance where you can leave larger items such as bags or umbrellas for a fee.

    Pets

    No animals are allowed anywhere on the event grounds.

    Food & Drinks

    At the FAN FEST EURO 2024 there will be a variety of food trucks and stands. The offering will also include vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Here you will find an overview of the offer.

    Water stations

    Drinking water can be filled up free of charge at all sanitary stations on the event site.

  • Payment methods

    Cash & Cashless

    Payments can be made with cash or cashless payment at all bars and drink stands on the event site. All common payment methods including Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted - excluded: American Express is not accepted.

    ATMs

    There will be ATMs available at the info point (between the NORTH entrance and the EAST entrance). There is a local fee of EUR 3.99 per withdrawal for national debits. International withdrawal fees vary.

  • Security

    Emergencies | Police & medical service

    You can contact the police via our local security service or by calling 110 directly.

    For medical emergencies, please contact 112. Medical personal will be present on the event site and in the case of an emergency you can report to the medical station in the west of the event site as well.

    Awareness

    With the question Which way to PANAMA? or the code word PANAMA, any guest who finds themselves in an uncomfortable or unsafe situation, is threatened or harassed, can get help.

    No further explanation is required, but the question/code word can be communicated to all festival employees and help will be provided immediately and without questions or an assessment of the situation.

    All approachable people can be clearly identified via a vest or stickers on their clothing.

    Code of Ethics

    Everyone should feel equally comfortable and welcome at our event. We therefore stand for open, tolerant and respectful interaction with one another. We advocate equality, diversity and justice without exception and have zero tolerance for any form of discrimination and discriminatory attitudes.

    Persons who wear clothing with an inhumane, homophobic, right-wing radical or any other discriminatory background or who carry racist, xenophobic and/or radical propaganda material will not be allowed entry to the event site and will not receive a refund of their ticket. Anyone who attracts attention on the site through the above-mentioned statements or behavior will be immediately expelled from the festival site without reimbursement.

    Crowdsurfing

    Crowdsurfing is not permitted during the entire event.

  • Service

    Infopoint

    The info point (between the NORTH entrance and the EAST entrance) will be open for questions throughout the event.

    Lost & found

    Lost property can be handed in and inquired about at the info point throughout the event. Stolen items must be reported to the police.

    After the event, lost items can be handed in at the Municipal Lost and Found Office, Implerstrasse 11, 81371 Munich, from Thursday, June 13, 2024, and can be requested at +49 89 233-96045 / fundbuero.kvr@muenchen.de.

    Ear Protection

    High volumes are to be expected on the event site. This is measured continuously, but we still recommend wearing hearing protection (e.g. earplugs). Earplugs are available at the info point.

    Weather safety

    When it's sunny, we recommend wearing a hat, using sunscreen and drinking enough water. There are drinking water points on the event site for free drinking water supplies.

    If it rains, we recommend wearing rain gear / rain ponchos, as (large) umbrellas are not permitted on the event site.
